Soraya Y. Belgacem is a New England native who has been planning notable events for over 10 years. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and earned a degree in Business. Later, she went on to work for several, big businesses where her skills helped grow their marketing and event departments. This dedication and hard work allowed her to develop her natural skills and become the businesswoman she is today.
In 2014, after seven years as a corporate and general event planner, Soraya realized her dream and branched out to launch SYB Event Planning. Soraya has used her strong Middle Eastern background and American upbringing to blend traditions in a fresh, new way. Her ability to turn the most ordinary event concepts into extraordinary moments makes her a respected event professional in New England.
She has been fortunate to win several wedding planning awards through popular wedding websites and has been recognized for her efforts in The Harvard Gazette, The Harvard Crimson, Harvard Scholars, New Hampshire Homes, The Swellesley Report, and more.
Soraya implements a strong sense of professionalism while maintaining her friendly and outgoing nature to bring excitement to each event. She is currently one of the only event providers in New England offering expertise in multicultural event planning and works to make each event custom to both needs and style.
Her passion for food and travel fuel her desire to create unique and authentic experiences for each one of her clients. She is passionate, loves adventure, has unbreakable bonds with her friends and family, including her favorite little assistant, her pet Dachshund, Cocoa.
